Deep Launching’s Hunger Relief Program provides emergency food support to individuals and families facing food insecurity in Charles County. We offer nutritious groceries and essential support to help households during times of need. Our goal is to serve families with dignity, compassion, and care while helping ensure that children, parents, and vulnerable residents have access to food at no cost.
Distribution Center
Deep Launching’s Distribution Center provides new, unused basic necessities, household goods, and essential items to individuals and families experiencing hardship. Through generous partnerships and community support, we distribute these items at no cost during Community Resource Days, outreach events, and direct service efforts. This program helps meet urgent needs while restoring dignity, offering practical support, and ensuring vulnerable families have access to items they may not otherwise be able to afford.

Community Emergency Food Partnership Program
Do you need a community partner to start or strengthen the operations of your community food pantry? Deep Launching’s Community Emergency Food Partnership Program works with schools, churches, community centers, nonprofit organizations, and other trusted partners to expand access to emergency food and essential household supplies. Through this program, Deep Launching can help establish a new pantry or enhance an existing food distribution operation by providing program planning, client intake systems, appointment scheduling, inventory tracking, volunteer coordination, and impact reporting. Deep Launching can also support the distribution of groceries, hygiene products, diapers, household necessities, and referrals to additional community services. Each partnership is designed to address local needs, fill service gaps, and avoid duplicating assistance already available in the community. Together, Deep Launching and its partners can create an organized, accessible, and compassionate resource for families experiencing food insecurity or an unexpected financial crisis.
